Adam Roberts is a composer of instrumental music, ranging from solo pieces to orchestral works, with and without electronics. Roberts' music is characterized by kinetic energy, introspection, and a delight in fusing diverse musical materials.

Recent News:

Leaf Metal, for large wind ensemble, commissioned by Eric Hewitt and the Boston Conservatory Wind Ensemble, premiered February, 2012.

Pasiphae Verses, for 10 wind instruments, commissioned by the Tanglewood Music Center for its 2012 season.  To be premiered July, 2012.

Aries, for chamber ensemble, commissioned by the Deviant Septet for a concert dedicated to Stockhausen's Tierkreis.  To be premiered at the Greenwich House Music School in NY, NY on May 31, 2012.

Anaktara, for solo cello, a birthday present wriiten for cellist Ben Schwartz.  Will be completed by July, 2012.

Giver of Light, a chamber opera in two acts, commissioned by Guerilla Opera, to be premiered in Spring/Summer, 2013.
